Photo Tours of Italy and the Côte d'Azur
Visit, enjoy and capture the moment!
Four lovely and relatively unexplored regions of Italy for you to discover and enjoy: sea-tossed Liguria with its Riviera, leafy Piemonte, the plains and hills of the Veneto and the whitewashed villages of Puglia. Plus a great extra - the Italian Riviera with the French Côte d'Azur combined. From action packed one day tours to more leisurely three day tours and even five day luxurious tours with a full package of excellent 3-4 star, family run lodgings and sumptuous cuisine. This is Italy after all.
1 Day in the Italian Riviera
The Italian Riviera is a great arc of olive-green hills that curves around the northwestern coastline of Italy from Tuscany to France. It has a spectacular and famed coastline, with places like Portofino and the Cinque Terre the most prized of its many fishing villages, pitched atop steep hills that cascade to the sea. I offer several one day tours, each with its own specific itinerary that lets you see and learn about beautiful places in the Italian Riviera.
3 Days in the Italian Riviera
Take a more leisurely tour through the Italian Riviera, whether it be the Riviera di Levante, east of Genova, or the Riviera del Ponente, which runs west to France. I offer both - ideal for a long weekend - each with its own specific itinerary that lets you see and learn about many beautiful places, like Portofino and the Cinque Terre.
5 Days in the Riviera and the Cote d'Azur
Extend your time and add two days to the tour of the Italian Riviera to include the fabulous French Cote d'Azur as well. Not only can you enjoy the spectacular images of Portofino and the Cinque Terre, but see the less traveled valleys behind Monaco that lead back into the Alps, before visiting the area around Antibes.
5 Days in Liguria and Piemonte
Behind the sea and hills of Liguria lies a great secret: the gentle rolling hills of the Langhe and Monferrato, two areas of Piemonte that most people don't even know of, even if they know about Asti Spumante, Barolo wine and Alba's truffles. Add two days here to three days in the Italian Riviera and you have a a great photo tour!
