Publications

I have written and published ebooks and travel articles, always with photos, in several magazines. Some of my photographs have also been published and/or used in travel articles, books, posters, web sites and even CD covers. Here are a selection of these publications, with links to other websites where appropriate.

No Trees Publishing

Some time ago I set up and ran a boutique eBook publishing house, called No Trees Publishing.  My mother came up with the name.  She was the first of our family to promote sustainable activities, and insisted we stick to non-paper versions of the children’s stories she wrote under the name of Betty Collins (her maiden name). I launched the service in 2013, but closed it down in 2017, as the only way you can make something like this work is by putting lots of money into marketing.  In loving and fond memory of my mother, here is No Trees Publishing reborn, as a branded service under my name.  Please visit, where you can see her children’s books (which are a delight), and other eBooks made along the way.

Reveal Italy

Reveal Italy was an online magazine with many articles and photographs of interesting places to see, all of which designed to promote tourism to Italy. I wrote some of the articles and provided supporting photography. The publication closed in late 2013. Scroll along the carousel to read them and see related photos.
